How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

BUILDING A POWERFUL COMICBOOK PORTFOLIO - BEGINS APRIL 24th

I can't believe the amount of support and traffic that have flown my way since joining DA, it's been utterly phenomenal! 100,000 hits in 9 months? INSANITY. You guys are truly THE BEST and I have none others to thank for this than my good friends at UDONCREW:

for convincing me to join up. It has truly been a blessing! Thank you all, I am officially a Deviant fo' life now!

In terms of SCHOOLISM, there are only three days left with limited spots remaining to register so you better act fast if you are seriously considering this as an opportunity to really expand your knowledge and begin building a kickass portfolio for convention season!

For those who don't already know, Schoolism is an online course where I will be your instructor and mentor, giving you assignments I've created in conjunction with the school. Upon completing your assignments you upload them back to me and I critique each individual assignment using screen capture so that you receive video and audio feedback. By the end of the 9 week course you will have completed 2 full comic book pages, done at my standards! Not to mention, the forum contains the videos to all of the students including all of the critiques, which promotes a community atmosphere as well as healthy competition!
